Upcoming Medical Astrology Course

We are excited to be announcing this upcoming T. I. Astrology Medical Astrology Course entitled, Medical Astrology: How Trauma Lands in the Body & Psyche.**

Eight Thursdays in a row starting September 14th, from 7 – 9 pm Eastern, we will have 16 hours together. The class is online – on Zoom. We will send a link when you register.

Who is this course for?

This course is for individuals with some astrological knowledge. If you are a professional astrologer, do astrology as a serious hobby, or use it to enhance your practice of other modalities, you are welcome to take this course.

You need to know your way around the astrology chart – knowing the signs, houses, elements, qualities, and aspects; this is the minimum requirement. If you know a bit about medical astrology, that is great too.

What will you get out of taking this course?

After taking this course, you will have a better understanding of the Astrological Signs and the ways in which these individuals hold energy and emotions in their bodies, and how that can show up in terms of symptoms and health concerns. You will go through the Mandala of the Psyche lecture, where you will get a fresh perspective on how trauma lands in the gross physical body, how it affects the subtle energy body, and how it can even influence our relationship with archetypal collective bodies.

In this course, we will go through 8 – 10 Embodiment Exercises and Somatic Tools for the Astrological Signs and various aspects. How can we invite stuck energy and emotion to move? How can we work with difficult aspects, both in the chart and in the body? What are some easy ways to come back to well-being and ease and resources?

There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. And we will even spend one class doing a demo – with time to debrief.

Pre- and Perinatal (PPN) Astrology Interpretations

Hello Readers,

Kirby here… I have been doing PPN Astrology interpretations for the past year, and my clients have been reporting great things!

In this post, I will discuss PPN Astrology, why am I especially qualified to offer these sessions, talk about the benefits of receiving an interpretation, and have a button where you can purchase one.

First – why me, why PPN Astrology? I have been studying and practicing various embodiment techniques, nervous system repair modalities & theories, pre- and perinatal birth process work (PPN psychology), emotional-process-oriented bodywork and more for the past 18 years. I love working with Moms and babies in helping to resolve difficult birth trauma and ancestral double binds – from 2016 – 2018, I worked with 60 different families and led several workshops in nervous system repair for Moms and Babies. I love diving deep when clients are ready to go there, and working to resolve inner or interpersonal conflicts. In other words, my intention or purpose for being here on the planet is to help resolve and transform suffering.

Of course, I have been studying and practicing Western Astrology and Spiritual Astrology since 2003. That is get close to 20 years! Blending all these modalities together, I founded Trauma Informed Astrology – and those courses, workshops, webinars and the T.I. Astrology platform is going strong. I love that dynamic work as well!

Second, what are the benefits of receiving a PPN Astrology interpretation? In a typical PPN Astrology interpretation, we can look to see the conditions prior to your birth. What was happening in your mother’s life, your father’s life before and around the time of your conception? Yes, that is visible in the chart when you know what you are looking for. (I plan to teach a PPN Astrology course next year, once I have a good number of students who have done good embodiment work.) Comprehensive 90 min PPN Astrology Interpretation

In this session, we will cover a lot about your early development – from conception onward! We will have time to cover two or three questions and areas that you specify. You will get great benefits, insights, and clarity around early patterns, family questions, and we will discuss ways to start healing your nervous system! These sessions can be done in-person if you are in Central Virginia, or easily done online over distance.

You can see many conditions around the time of conception, you can see what discovery was like (when your mother discovered and told people she was pregnant). You can look at the stages of gestation – and see any interruptions to healthy psychological growth and conditions for ease and safety. And of course, you can see a lot about the birth itself.

Then, if there is time, we can look at the stages of childhood, and even narrow down exact years where things would happen, and even look at these things going forward – stages of maturity.

If you want, I can include embodiment exercises and tools to help support your nervous system and your healing process. I can answer a lot of difficult questions – I have training in working with subtle energy body, with trauma resolution and many more modalities, so I have a unique perspective!

60 min PPN Astrology Interpretation

This is a shorter version of the comprehensive PPN session above. We can easily cover your early stages, and answer one or two large pressing questions in this time. Your intention will direct the session. These sessions can be done online (Zoom) or in-person if you are in Central Virginia USA

Theme of the IG Live today: Trauma is the Root of All Suffering

Exciting things are happening with Trauma Informed Astrology! Even though we are busy with summer plans (I am doing a two-week meditation retreat in July, and then 5 days at the beach in August), we are still staying active planning and offering value for T.I. Astrology IG followers and FB. So follow us and see some awesome posts – blending Embodiment Tools, Nervous System Repair, and Western Astrology!

We are doing IG live videos twice a month for T. I. Astrology. Unless we do a webinar (the first one of those is planned for August – stay tuned!).

We will resume course content work in July and August. We are super excited for the Level Two: Western Astrology & the Polyvagal System course. Plus, we will work on the Preliminary Astrology Tools course in August and September as well (for beginners who aren’t quite ready to dive into Level Two just yet).

In the IG Live video, we started by discussing how we first have to be clear about resource, we want to get in touch with the Health Which is Never Lost in ourselves, in our clients, in our students, etc. The first thing we are looking for (always) is health. We do not go digging for trauma – that would be taking their nervous system the wrong direction.

We discussed how trauma is behind so many various symptoms and issues – I personally see much of the myopia (short sightedness) in the U.S. and much of the world as an artifact of trauma. Keep everyone busy, it is hard to raise a family, save money, attempt to practice self-care, and work on transforming our nervous systems! We are very fortunate if we can engage in healing work. Take advantage of it if you can!

We talked about how it is vitally important to understand what is happening in someone’s (and our own!) nervous system. Especially if we are working with trauma or with a population that has experienced a lot of trauma. We looked a little at how to understand what is happening for someone when healing happens for them.

And this was all referring to the Nervous System Foundations course which is ready right now on Teachable. In this course, we go much deeper into what is Embodiment?, what is trauma?, unpacking resilience further, the Autonomic Nervous System, the Functional Range, and the Trauma Informed Principles! We are starting work on the Level Two course: Western Astrology & the Polyvagal System. This is very exciting as we are diving into the intersection of Western Astrology, Nervous System Repair, and Developmental Psychology! These courses take a while especially with the editing process – we are hoping to have this ready by October.

In August, we will start on the Preliminary Astrological Tools class. So that should be ready to present by November or December.

Kirby (the author) is going on a 10-day meditation retreat at the end of July (just in time for Venus Rx’s beginning), and a needed beach trip in August. Therefore, we are anticipating having things in place for an awesome September and beyond!
