PPN intensive workshop in Nelson BC
I just attended an incredible workshop in the Kootenays. This intensive was led by Myrna Martin and it focused on double binds, chemical and surgical birth imprints. It was a small group so we really got to know each other well and I believe the intimacy assisted us to go deeper into the material. TheContinue reading “PPN intensive workshop in Nelson BC”
In Vancouver, prepping
I am presently in Vancouver. Getting ready for a birth process work intensive, also known as pre- and perinatal therapy. It is a two week intensive. This is level 2, which focuses on chemical and mechanical birth imprints (what interventions were used) as well as looking at ancestral double binds. As a result, this isContinue reading “In Vancouver, prepping”
a meditation group has begun
I recently started a meditation group in Charlottesville. So far, we have done Khenchen Rinpoche, Konchog Gyaltsen’s practice of Om Ah Hung. There is a nice melody I attempt to follow as we do the practice. I also give a brief Dharma talk about setting proper motivation (Bodhicitta, altruistic mind) etc. In explaining the practice,Continue reading “a meditation group has begun”

An extraordinary cure for Lyme’s disease
I am writing this post, basically passing along a story I heard. I have not tried this yet, so don’t know if it actually works. However, I am thinking about getting my paints out and doing some artwork. Maybe I will also do a few pieces along these lines. A friend sent me a storyContinue reading “An extraordinary cure for Lyme’s disease”
finally feeling better after Lyme’s borreliosis
This is a post about my recovery from Lyme’s disease. If you are a regular visitor, you may have read a previous post describing my struggle with Lyme’s disease (borrelia burgdorferi). I am now realizing that I have probably been infected with some sort of tick-borne issue for longer than I thought. I say thisContinue reading “finally feeling better after Lyme’s borreliosis”
visiting Pittsburgh, time with Tibetan Lamas
I just recently got back from a trip to Pittsburgh, PA. It is closer to Charlottesville than I was thinking, so I will try to head up there once a year if it is easy. On Saturday there was an empowerment by H.E. Tritsab Rinpoche (Chenrezig). That day was a lot of driving, so IContinue reading “visiting Pittsburgh, time with Tibetan Lamas”
Is a birth imprint our karma?
I had an interesting experience in a bodywork class recently. I help to assist with teaching various bodywork classes – Craniosacral Therapy, Working with the Vagus [nerve] system, Zapchen Somatics. And occasionally, something comes up which I have not considered or heard before. Usually the topics are subjects or situations I have heard of previously. Continue reading “Is a birth imprint our karma?”
