I’m excited to be offering a new course this fall: Through the Gate — An Astrology of Initiation. There is an initiatory path woven into Western astrology — a way of reading the zodiac not just as a map of the sky, but as a map of the soul’s journey. Several spiritual and esoteric astrologers, particularly Alice Bailey and Isabel Hickey, pioneered this path, tracing each sign through three layers: the familiar personality-level story, the soul-level work it carries across a lifetime, and the deeper awakening it points toward. I’m taking that lineage a step further, weaving in somatic tools and other wisdom traditions so the material doesn’t just stay in the mind — each session opens with a guided somatic practice, grounding the astrology in the body and nervous system before we ever open a chart.
Part One runs six sessions live over Zoom, moving from Aries through Virgo, and is open to complete beginners as well as seasoned chart-readers — the only real prerequisite is some prior inner work of your own (therapy, somatic practice, contemplative practice, or the like), since this material touches real dissolution and loosening of identity. Space is limited to 18 participants, and it’s offered on a sliding scale of $300–$450 so it stays accessible. I have already taught this class twice. It has gone so well. One online class and the in-person class is going quite well. This is very rich material, we have excellent insightful discussions and I am learning so much along the way.
